Join us on Saturdays and Sundays for a fun urban forage from June-October 2022 in Chicago! We'll be having a few forays in Detroit this season as well as MI Foraging Events, stay tuned! Our general community foraging classes are best for beginner-intermediate plant lovers looking to connect deeper to interconnected relationships between communities and perennial plants in urban spaces. Private foraging classes for kids and adults as well as annual packages are available for the 2022 season. Location for private group classes are chosen by client and valid for groups of 5 individuals. * Please note that there are no refunds after ticket purchase. If it rains and class is canceled, participants will be able to rebook for another class.*

You will learn:

-Learn to navigate urban foraging (safely and legally) with a trusted urban forager

-How to identify 10+ urban perennial plants

-Stories of culturally salient people-plant relationships

-Medicinal and herbal uses (historic and contemporary)

-Connect with community

-Connect with the land

-Try some delicious foraged treats
